My favorite redhead is back! The Red-headed Woodpecker used to never come to our feeder but this one has been making regular appearances this winter.
I’m trying to concentrate on writing (well, revising, really) this week and have no art to share. Maybe next week. 🙂
what a beauty! good luck with your writing!

Aren’t they fabulous! You are so lucky to have them at your feeder. Our oak trees have too many acorns!

As I was posting the photo, I was thinking that I hope nobody starts comparing mine to yours because this is a terrible shot with my iPhone. LOL! I hope you’ll get to see them more often at your trees. 🙂

We’re expecting a touch more snow, but nothing like what some other areas will get (thank goodness, really…it’s beautiful but a pain to get around in). 🙂

How lovely! Do they always look as if they were wearing a backpack?! I wish we had them here… 🙂

Our woodpeckers have been absent recently…could be due to the large building going up on the next street. Perhaps when it’s done they will return…it’s a treat, they are such beautiful birds. (K)

Looks like a nice view for short little breaks from writing :-). Awesome woodpecker! I’ve never seen one of those. That is one very, very red head.
