Thanks, Shirley! 🙂 It was started by Jake Parker (you can find out more about him here: http://mrjakeparker.com/ and more about Inktober here: http://mrjakeparker.com/inktober ). I’ve not read the rules in a year, but I really don’t think there is any aside from draw a piece every day using some sort of ink implement, and maybe posting on Facebook, Twitter, etc., with the hashtag #Inktober. 🙂 I hope you’ll join in for fun!
Me, too, Catherine! I was a bit worried that I couldn’t do this daily last year, but since I’ve been drawing pretty much every day now with charcoal, I just have to switch to ink and carry on. 😀
Haven’t heard about Inktober. There is so much strength in this drawing. You do excellent work. Won’t be around from Oct 2-18 Oct. So won’t be commenting.
Love your ink drawing, Teresa! Look forward to seeing your additional ink sketches in October. I can barely keep up now with creating daily so I’m going to have to pass on this challenge but is sounds fun! 😊
That would be great! Did you see the links I gave in the comments to someone else? I can also provide the link to info about the challenge again tomorrow in my post. 🙂
I liked his list of different pens (and brush). I’ve actually been trying out all my various pens in an attempt to figure out what I like best, so I’ll have at least one “Inktober” post this month I’m sure.
This is another challenge I’ve never heard of. Who sponsors this and what are the guidelines? You are an artist!

Thanks, Jill! I’m just doing the ink drawings for my regular daily doodles…instead of charcoal, I’ll use ink, so I’m not doing any extra work. 🙂

LOL! It’s good to have themes to draw by if you run out of ideas, I suppose. 😀
