National Kids & Pets Day #doodlewashaday #kidlitart April 26, 2016April 26, 2016 / Teresa 何 Robeson I’d posted the drawing of this piece before but I threw a bit of paint at it today for National Kids and Pets Day. I don’t care for the buckling of this paper; it’s too light weight–I prefer 140lb paper (300lb if I can get it)–but whatever. Paints: 14 pan Sennelier travel kit. so sweet T – you really need to be a children’s book illustrator…. (or are you already?) 🙂 LikeLiked by 3 people
I’m trying to learn how to show lighting and shadow…not there yet but trying. 😊 Thanks! LikeLiked by 2 people
You may not like the paper, but it seems to like you. I love all the animals in the picture, and how the armadillo seems to be walking in the same manner as the little boy. Too cute! LikeLiked by 1 person

It looks great with paint. You are so good at the shading on the floor.

Good catch! I meant for it to echo the boy’s footsteps. 🙂
