These are two pages of an 8-page homework assignment for Joy Chu’s UCSD Extension class, Illustrating Children’s Books. We had to “interview” the character we chose and do quick sketches of its responses.
These are wonderful! There aren’t enough sweet pigs in books these days. I once made one out of clay at school it was my favorite thing I did at school lol.

What a great idea, to interview the character with art. I do so with writing fiction but hadn’t thought of doing so with a sketch. 🙂
