Hello lovely Blog World peeps! I missed you all and your blog posts.
I’ve been happily busy though. In the month I’ve been away, I’ve finished writing a time travel story for The Minnows Literary Group‘s upcoming e-anthology this year, relaxed a bit while being mostly offline, and had tons of fun with my sister whom I’d not seen since July!
The new year is starting off busy. In addition to my usual writing and art, I’m taking a course from UCSD Extension on illustrating children’s books and also being an “elf” helper at a marvelous picture book writing community called 12×12. Because of that, I have to decide whether I want to try and keep this as a 365-blog or just post a few set days a week.
While I’m deciding, I’ll leave you with a New Year greeting and exhortation from a super talented author friend of mine, Salina Yoon:
Oh, yay, another Minnow’s anthology! I’m so glad you had a nice break, and happy new year to you too! I feel good about 2016.

Woo, sounds like lots of good things happening in your world, Teresa! Glad to hear it. It’s nice to see you around again. I tend to agree that it may be best to limit the blogging thing to something other than daily. I’m reevaluating again too. It’s fun but lots of time involved. Sounds like you’ve got some offline things going that are really good. Glad you enjoyed your break too! Happy 2016 to you!

I think a schedule will keep me on track but, boy, some days, it’s hard enough to take care of housework let alone blog, too. 😉
I’m glad you’ve found your happy spot for blogging! ❤️

I hope your holiday break was equally fun! It looks like you did from your photos. 🙂 The anthology had been delayed indefinitely but hopefully it will be out by mid-year. Thanks!

Me too 🙂 I completely understand wanting a break though. There are only so many plates that you can keep spinning before some start to drop and smash!

Aw, thanks. That’s kind of you. I’ve only been back (daily) since January 1, and already thinking of cutting back! Are you coming back on some regular basis, or have you decided? It sounds like you’ve got so many things going on, which is terrific!
