#SelfieArt Day compilation for November

sad girl
After my rather uninspired attempt at a self-portrait for November’s #SelfieArt Day, I’m relieved to say that there will not be a #SelfieArt Day on Dec. 25th (because, you know…). We’ll resume in January if there is enough interest.

In fact, I might just take a blogging break for the entirety of December. It’ll be a crazy month due to the holidays, my sister visiting, and just the general seasonal blahs (this drawing is sort of a selfie; I feel as blah as she looks).

I promised my sweet friend (and human being extraordinaire) Charlie O’Shields (over at the awesome Doodlewash blog) that I’d answer some questions for the Liebster Award today, but that was before I remembered I had to post the #SelfieArt Day links. So, tomorrow, I’ll answer Charlie’s questions. I promise! 🙂

A big thanks to all the lovely folks who were game enough to tackle creating their own self-portraits this month! They’re presented alphabetical order; please check out their terrific self-portraits, interpreted in their own style! If I’ve forgotten someone, let me know. 🙂

  1. I like when you add color to your drawings. They remind me of illustrations – this one in particular for a children’s book. Have a good break! xo You deserve it – you are such a huge contributor on WordPress.

  2. That’s an awesome little do in that girl! 😉hehe… Love it! ❤️😃And love these compilations so I don’t miss anyone’s portraits. Can’t wait to see your answers to the questions…hehe. And I swear I’ll try to give this a go in January. Although I have no idea what “project” will be happening that month (I haven’t even figured out December and it starts on Tuesday! 😳)

  3. My sister actually had hair like that when she was very little. 😀 I’m looking forward to partial hibernation myself. Maybe I’ll go back to posting doodles daily on Instagram while I’m taking a blogging break.. You’re so clever to think of projects and so dedicated to stick with them! xo

  4. Nice portraits all round! Oh dear, I missed this again – though to be honest I’m not sure how many more times I can inflict my mug on followers and expect them to stick around…

I hope you come back from your break refreshed and ready to rock once more!

  5. I love all the interpretations of self-portraits! I wish I could be more creative in thinking of doing something that isn’t a straight self-portrait. I think a break will really help and I look forward to you joining us in January’s SelfieArt! 🙂

  6. That is a wonderful portrait, and do take a break. You may notice I disappear for days all the time! Life has its needs… (I’ll still be working on my 100 self-portraits though, I’ve got a long way to go) (K)
