Some of the bounty

The salad greens and collard greens are part of the harvest yesterday. They make for an odd pairing with salmon-charmoula pasta (the charmoula is made with our cilantro and dill) but it’s all good and tasty!

  1. Nothing makes for weirder meals than the ‘It Must Come In NOW Because Frost’ harvests. We brought in a load of arugula, which we are eating with everything. There might be a few turnips still out there and the kale might survive. No cold frames this year. I’ve got too many other irons in the fire.

  2. Oh, that’s too bad you couldn’t get to the cold frames this year. You did so great last year with them. I know you’ve preserved enough to last until spring and summer though. 🙂
