Things that make me happy:
1) having our older son home for the weekend;
2) not having any commitments for the weekend;
3) fall vegetables….look at the size of the kale leaf on the right!
Luckily, he goes to the university in our town so he’s never too far. 🙂 Hubby is the cook and he often braises kale in a broth (veggie bouillon). Sometimes he’ll roast them. I love it any way!
Wonderful!

Lovely list of happiness. It’s always the simplest of pleasures that bring the biggest happiest of times. I’m making samosas for dinner tonight.

Send the kale my way. I love to eat it. Have never seen leaves so big and dark green!

We love it, too! It’s so tasty and nutritious. 🙂 Ours are usually dark green and large, but this one leaf was excessively large. LOL!

Is that dinosaur kale? How nice to still have a big bounty so late in the season.

Kale (I think this is dinosaur kale) is a cool weather crop. It likes it in the fall and spring!
