Just a reminder that the first Selfie Art Day challenge is in two days: September 25th. Michael Richards (A Certain Line) suggested having a hashtag for it. What do you all think of #SelfieArt ? Simple, easy to spell? Remember, there are no rules – create art in any medium! It only has to be a representation of yourself. And either add the link to your post in the comment section of my post for that day (or @teresarobeson me on Twitter) so I can compile the links!
My baby sister, who makes gorgeous artistic soaps by the way, is turning 47 today…still a young ‘un! 🙂 I whipped up a quick pic just for her. Happy birthday from me, Doris, and Larry, honey!

HBD to your sis! I may draw my daughter instead. I don’t like my self-portraits. If I don’t get her permission, then I’ll do a famous person but I do plan to do a portrait to join in! Is that ok? I gotta be a rule breaker, Teresa!

Woohoo! I’m sure most everyone will do something more complicated than what I did (which is a basic sketch), but it’s not a contest…LOL! It’s a fun way to express oneself!
