The best good thing!

Not just one good thing…it’s perhaps the best good thing! I’m going to add a couple more hours to my 9 hours of sleep. πŸ˜€

  1. I give up on some good things? πŸ˜‰ I was just reading a friend’s blog about her past 2 weeks and she had very little sleep and so much to do, but she has 2 books coming out this year…and I have none. So, I guess you can have one or the other, but not both. :}

  2. Seriously, you get 9 hours sleep already? I don’t think I could do that. Even 8 hours and I’m groggy all day and can’t get to sleep at all the following night. Not that I manage to catch up with my life while getting 6 hours of sleep either…(K.)

  3. Kerfe, 9 hours is over-estimating a bit…I’m in bed for close to 9 hours but I’m asleep for probably more like 7.5 hours. I do love my sleep though. πŸ™‚ Not everyone needs the same amount. My father-in-law, for decades, slept for only 5 hours.

  4. I don’t think I could manage for long on 5, although I could use the extra time… Actually, 7 is probably best for me, although I seldom manage it. Kudos to you, for finding a way to get 9 hours a day not filled with activity!

  5. I like to think I’m doing it for the good of my family and the world because a sleep-deprived me is grumpy and not too sharp. πŸ˜‰

    I hope you’ll be able to get 7 hours of sleep most nights and feel better for it!

  6. Gluten is so bad. I used to love it, used to bake bread and all of it…..had no idea how it was wrecking me emotionally, physically and mentally. I’d have never dreamed it was my problem until I finally saw a functional endocrinologist who asked me what I eat. What doctor asks that? But they all should. Anyway. Off my soapbox, but yeah, peri and meno are not fun. Proof for me that God is a man! lol There is a book book by Dr John Lee that a friend told me about that is helpful. What your Dr may not tell you about premeno and there is another one about meno. I may have the title wrong but the author’s name is right! πŸ™‚ (PS When I was on gluten and corn, I needed ten hours of rest and eight hours of sleep – now I can get by on 5. And 7 is ideal. Never thought I’d be saying that!)
