Good things come in many guises

I ordered some mica and fragrance oils from Mad Oils for making soap and they sent me a little extra goodie bag with this saying on it:

“Sometimes rejection in life is really redirection.” – Tavis Smiley

Thanks, Joanna! I really, REALLY needed to hear that this month.

  1. Look at all the redirection I’ve had and I couldn’t be happier. Keep trying new things just in case it’s your calling πŸ™‚

  2. I couldn’t agree more. There was a time many years ago when I had worked my hardest to get a job in my field. After doing at least 5 times as much work/applications as my colleagues, with all due diligence, I paused, breathed and decided I did not like the person I had become during that horrific year. So I seized the moment, took back my life and changed directions. Things work out whenever you have a positive attitude and think creatively.

  3. Robin, interestingly, I always think of you as someone who succeeds at everything she puts her mind to. You’re a great example of how one shouldn’t try to follow everyone else’s path. You’re an inspiration!
