Before we get to the drawing du jour, I just want to mention that the lovely and talented Joanna Marple, children’s author, is featuring me on her blog today. She has interviewed award winning illustrators before, so I am very honored to be included among her guests. 🙂
K…
Teresa, Will pop on over to Joanna’s later. How wonderful! Love his majesty, the most royal kingly kiwi.

Super cute! Interesting interview and selection of illustrations. I’d almost forgotten about jello and evaporated milk :-)!

Awww, thanks, Robin! No need to pop over; you’ve got a lot of stuff on your plate right now. I just started reading your CASE OF THE MISSING CARROT CAKE with my 17 year old. He’s a bit old for it, but we are both enjoying it! 🙂 (We do reading together because he’s on the spectrum and has reading comprehension issues.)

Did you used to eat Jello and evaporated milk, too? What a hoot! I would still eat that, but I don’t eat much Jello anymore. 😀

Yay, I’m very much liking this appreciation you have for NZ birds (Kakapo, from your guest interview included!)

LOL! I have a general appreciation for birds, but am especially working hard for the kakapo since it’s highly endangered.

Same! Not into food coloring anymore. But it is a nice memory :-). Jello was ‘meh’, but jello with evaporated milk was yummy.

How’d I miss HRH Kiwi? 😉 Very cute and that was a great article Joanna did on you.

I might have to make my own gelatina one of these days (it’s much tastier than Jello), but I wouldn’t want to ruin the flavor with evaporated milk. LOL!
